Data Deletion Instructions

ExcuseBee is operated by Marge AI in Singapore. This page covers personal data collected through ExcuseBee at app.excusebee.com, including data we receive when you connect a third party account such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Google, or Microsoft. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which describes what we collect and why.

To delete your account and all associated personal data, email hello@excusebee.com from the address on your ExcuseBee account with the subject line "Delete my account". You do not need to give a reason.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request, so that nobody else can delete your workspace. Sending the request from the email address registered on the account is normally enough.

If you connected a WhatsApp, Facebook, or Instagram account to ExcuseBee, we store access tokens and basic profile details (such as your account handle and page or number) so we can send, receive, and publish on your behalf. To remove that data:

• Disconnect inside ExcuseBee. Open your workspace settings, find the connected account, and choose Disconnect. We delete the stored access tokens for that account immediately.
• Revoke from Meta's side. In Facebook, go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, select ExcuseBee, and choose Remove. This revokes our access even if you cannot reach your ExcuseBee account.
• Ask us to delete the rest. To also remove message history, published post records, and any other data tied to that connection, email hello@excusebee.com with the subject line "Delete my Meta data" and tell us which account it relates to.

Deleting data held by ExcuseBee does not delete anything stored by Meta itself, or posts and messages already published to your own accounts. You control those directly from Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp.

If you connected Google Calendar or Google Drive, disconnecting the Google account inside ExcuseBee deletes your stored Google OAuth tokens immediately. We do not keep copies of your calendar events or Drive file contents. You can also revoke access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

If you connected an Outlook or Microsoft 365 calendar, disconnecting the Microsoft account inside ExcuseBee deletes your stored Microsoft OAuth tokens immediately. We do not keep copies of your calendar events. You can also revoke access at any time from your Microsoft apps page.

Your chat history with the assistant may quote calendar or file details back to you. That history is deleted when you delete your ExcuseBee account, or sooner on request.

We acknowledge every deletion request within 5 business days and complete it within 30 days. On completion we delete or irreversibly anonymize:

• Your account and profile details, and your workspace membership.
• Brand and brief inputs, including uploaded logos, product photos, and brand settings.
• Generated content, drafts, schedules, and published post records held in ExcuseBee.
• Access tokens and profile details for every connected social, Meta, Google, and Microsoft account.
• Your chat history with the assistant.

Deletion is permanent. We cannot restore a deleted workspace, so export anything you want to keep before you send the request.

We may retain a limited set of records where the law requires it, principally billing and transaction records kept for tax and accounting purposes, and minimal logs needed to detect fraud or abuse. These are kept only for as long as the relevant legal or accounting retention period requires, are not used to contact you or to provide the service, and are deleted at the end of that period.

For any question about deletion, or to check the status of a request, contact our data protection point of contact at hello@excusebee.com. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture of what we collect and who we share it with.
